Commissioned by the City of Tempe Office of Arts and Culture, DogEar Theatre Productions’ Between Two Worlds, was a devised site-specific play performed in promenade throughout Scudder Park in Tempe, AZ. The play reimagines the myth of the goddess Persephone, centering her as the agent of her own story. As the scenic designer, I worked with local elementary school students utilizing socially engaged design methodologies to develop the designs for the scenic elements of this play.
