Digital Storytelling Projects

It all started when…

Working as an embedded artist at different parks and recreation centers throughout the Phoenix metro area, I led group workshops and worked individually with youth ages 7-12, on digital storytelling projects. The digital storytelling pieces not only surfaced the importance of the parks and recreation centers for the participants and their communities, but they also allowed the participants to develop skills in storytelling, acting, directing, editing, design, and fabrication. During my tenure over 30 different digital stories were produced and showcased to local audiences.
